Wow am I tired, I’ve struggled to wake up this morning from all the excitement and all the running round tracking down events and sessions at the Opening Ceremony these past two days. We met Manolis last night for a coffee who is staying in a hotel close to where we are and Pedro, Lars, Lee, Mariana and crew also had the same idea and went to get some food at the same place we were also. Lee looked so tired! He was still carrying the tripod and camera from all the live blogging. But no rest for the wicked, I have a presentation to finish writing for my talk on Monday at the IAU 260’s Symposium on early years learning and astronomy, articles to write for the new Science Newspaper and a website to finish building. So it’s back to work for me!

Oh, Gosh! Where I am?
Sadly I missed all important events in Paris. Why? Day before yesterday I had lots of photometry to do. Yesterday I was visiting Torun (one of the node of e-vlbi network) to listen a lecture about extra-solar planets observation techniques. Anyone has links to multimedia covering opening ceremony etc.? Cheers for all involved in IYA2009!
