SOHO LIVE WEBCAST

One of my favourite instruments of all time, SOHO is online now with the live webcast, I have to say as an astronomer as well as an educator that this instrument ROCKS. Its great to hear that amateur astronomers can still help by discovering sun grazing comets in these images as pupils studying these images can discover these also, mega cool! And it’s also helpful as a security warning system for alerting astronauts on the ISS and on shuttle missions to keep them out of the way when there is a really high energy particle outburst.
