WISE continues to find comets and asteroids through its NEOWISE program led by Amy Mainzer. The latest and quite interesting comet found by WISE is Comet C/2010 D4 (WISE) which has a perihelion distance of 7.2 AU! My list of WISE solar system discoveries shows that comets D1, D2 and D3 were all discovered by WISE as well.

Ned Wright, 65 years old, is a professor at UCLA. He did far-infrared observations using a 102-cm balloon-borne telescope for his PhD thesis, and has since observed with the Kuiper Airborne Observatory, and the space-based COBE, WMAP, Spitzer and WISE missions.

It was a great idea the scan the entire sky.
I congratulate them and I applaud your achievements.
I would like to know if you are already working in the detection of nearby stars, or if already noted some star with good posibilities be the more nearby.

We are finding nearby brown dwarfs now but are still in the early stages of analysis and followup.
