Preparing for 100 Hours of Astronomy part 2

So I made it through most of today without boring the kids doing the live disaster session today, hooray! some of them knew what a global positioning remote system meant, double hooray! And I even made it back to the Print works in Manchester for 4.30 ish to meet by best friend who I haven’t seen for over 6 months because she lives in Italy now, triple hooray! Yes, I definitely deserved a beer after today and spent most of the afternoon chilling out and catching up and reminding myself how good guiness and black currant tastes.

I shouldn’t be awake now as tomorrow I am heading for Yorkshire to present the shows at the planetarium there so I am online now checking that I have signed up for the U-stream tv to make sure I have access to this tomorrow morning. The main idea is to have my laptop with me to have the webcasts live so that visitors can see what is happening when they come to visit the planetarium. An extra treat for them me thinks!

I think I’d better go and get some sleep now, tomorrow will be a very exciting day indeed!
